Terms of Service

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are between you (“Customer”, “you”) and Stoke Chicken Limited (“we”, “us”). By placing an order or accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Ordering & Acceptance
2.1 Orders can be placed via phone, email, or our website.
2.2 We will confirm order acceptance via written confirmation or invoice.
2.3 We reserve the right to refuse or amend any order (e.g. unavailable stock) after notifying you.
3. Pricing & Payment
3.1 Prices are per kilogram/unit, exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Payment must be made as agreed (e.g. in advance or on delivery).
3.3 For late payments (past agreed terms), we may charge interest at 4% above Bank of England base rate.
4. Delivery & Collection
4.1 We deliver within Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas; bespoke arrangements for further locations.
4.2 Delivery times are estimated; ensure someone is available to receive the order.
4.3 Title and risk passes to you on delivery.
4.4 For collections, title and risk pass upon pickup.
5. Quality, Freshness & Complaints
5.1 We comply with halal standards and food hygiene regulations. All products are ethically sourced and processed in line with Islamic guidelines.
5.2 If quality issues arise, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
5.3 We’ll investigate and may offer replacement, credit, or refund at our discretion (limited to order value).
6. Liability
6.1 Our liability is limited to the invoice value of the relevant order.
6.2 We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.
7. Force Majeure
We are not liable for non-performance caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, transport strikes, pandemics, or regulatory changes.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate ongoing delivery agreements with 30 days’ written notice.
We may suspend or terminate your service without notice if you breach these Terms or are insolvent.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy (above) sets out how we process your personal data. By using our service, you consent to processing.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by English law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England & Wales.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms (e.g. pricing, policies), with changes communicated via email or our website. Current Terms always take precedence.
